GRID INSTALLATION

The main beams are installed at a 4`distance between them and the joints should be stepped.

The 4’ cross tees get placed and inserted every 2’ apart to the main beam, and finally the 2’ cross tee into the 4’ cross tees. This aray will result in a 2’ x 2’ grid

INSERTION OF THE CROSS TEE

The tips of the cross tees are punched out of center so the grid looks aligned on exposed side. When the tips get inserted into the slots and you hear a "click" the cross tee is in place.

To prevent from installing the cross tee on the wrong side, always insert the following cross tee on the right hand side of the previous tee.

CLIPPING TOGETHER THE MAIN BEAM (TEES)

The tip of the main beam (tee) has to slide into the punched ways until the counter hook snaps into the slot.
