LIGERPLAC^® ceiling tile has high humidity resistance, it does not contain any water soluble element, like glues to bond the components. In the hydration process of gypsum the material returns to its natural condition as it is found in nature.
Gypsum is a humidity regulator, since it absorbs up to 100% of its volume in water vapor, without changing its physical properties.

In addition to the excellent characteristics of gypsum, LIGERPLAC^® ceiling tile has a strong 3-dimensional monofilament glassfiber reinforcement.

Laboratory testing proved LIGERPLAC^® ceiling tile to be free from sagging and color change when exposed to 95% relative humidity at 38'C during 30 consecutive days.
